Changes to sales attribution (OFMM)

TL;DR

  • “Sale is attributed to message sender” will be removed from OF Mass Message sales settings
  • Export OF Mass Message history for manual attribution

Heads-up: next week we’ll be removing “Sale is attributed to message sender” from the OF mass message (OFMM) sales settings to improve the accuracy of sales attribution.

If you're currently using this setting, you'll need to update your sales settings.

What do you need to do?

  1. Go to Sales settings
  2. Click Edit
  3. Update your OF Mass Message settings

You still have the option to attribute the sale to the last employee on shift at the time of purchase or the last chatter who messaged the fan.

New: Export OFMM history

From next week, you’ll be able to export the last 7 days of OFMMs from Smart Messages, then use this list to calculate employee sales offline.

To download your OFMM history:

  1. Go to Smart Messages
  2. Click the Mass Messages tab > OF mass messages
  3. Export. You’ll receive a download link via email
